Initiations will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the Reitz 349. It will start promptly at 5pm so make sure you get there a little early. Dress is business formal. Elections for the fall semester will be held right after initiations in the same room. If you are interested in running for a position you can email the current officer to ask any questions. The officer positions you could run for are: - President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Pledge Coordinator (2)
- Advising Chair
- Social Chair
- Chapter Development
- Recruitment Chair
Dinner will be after the initiations/elections and will be held at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse near The Oaks Mall. Dinner will begin around 6:30 or 7pm. You must attend the initiations/elections to be able to join us for dinner. Let me know if you have any questions (

Tuesday April 10th, Alpha Pi Mu volunteered at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge. Ten members and pledges volunteered at the lodge, playing board games and chatting with the current residents. Hope Lodge is a facility located near Shands designed for cancer patients who have traveled from out of town for treatment in Gainesville. Alpha Pi Mu served residents root-bear floats and played games with about fifteen residents. Many residents shared stories and enjoyed the activities with the volunteers. Alpha Pi Mu hopes to volunteer with Hope Lodge again.
